Teach and Volunteer Experience

TRAKS International USA-ASIA offers several teaching and volunteer programs that will help you gain a deeper understanding of Thai culture and its people through sharing their life and becoming part of their community. International Teaching/Volunteering is a unique and life-changing experience that helps participants gain new world perspectives as they combine travel with service and work. We invite you to consider sharing your skills and talents across the world.

Volunteers must:

  • Be 18 to 21 years or older.
  • Have a high school diploma/equivalent or a higher education degree.
  • Speak English as a native language.
  • Have a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond the end of your stay.

Teachers Must:

  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Have a degree/diploma from an accredited university.
  • Speak English as a native language.
  • Have a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond the end of your stay.

On-line Application Packet:

  • Completed application form.
  • CV or resume.
  • One recent photograph (scanned pictures are acceptable)
  • Photocopy of your valid passport (only the page with your picture and details is necessary).
  • Copy of your most recent degree/diploma and transcript or a letter from your university stating when you will graduate.
  • Criminal Background Report
  • A personal letter that describes why you wish to participate along with a description of work/volunteer experience, skills, interests and how you will benefit yourself and the program (refer to application form).
  • One letter of reference from a non-relative.

Once we have received and processed your application, we will send you confirmation of your acceptance and begin the placement process.
